Rinnosuke is a half-human who runs an antique and collectibles shop known as Kourindou in the Forest of Magic. He is the main character of Curiosities of Lotus Asia, and the only active humanoid male character in the Touhou series. He is also one of the few characters who seem to have no fighting ability. Marisa calls him Kourin, and that is the name he is usually known as. Despite his ability, he does not know how to use the unknown gadgets. Hence, he makes many false theories of his own about the foreign objects from the outside world.
