China is one of the oldest nations, being depicted as immortal as well as being over 4000 years old, and is regarded as the eldest brother among the East Asian nations. Because of the Sino-Soviet Split, he is disturbed and distrustful of Russia. China's favorite food is variety, and as such has certain tastes for things and gets irritated if a food has a certain pattern of tastes. He is a big fan of Hello Kitty and tends to end his sentences with the suffix -aru, a Japanese stereotype of how Chinese people speak, however, he replaces the customary -aru with the suffix -ahen, which means opium, when speaking to England, as a reference to the Opium Wars. He also has a long and disfiguring scar across his back due to Japan injuring him during the First Sino-Japanese War, and is often depicted with pandas.
