Kyrie and Battler have bonded more as close friends with a sibling-like relationship rather than mother and son. She has a "flip the chessboard" mentality to work out mental problems, and influences Battler in this regard. She had dated Rudolf long before his first wife Asumu, who she envied for marrying Rudolf while she was still going out with him. Asumu and Kyrie became pregnant at the same time, though Kyrie's son was said to have been a stillborn, while Asumu gave birth to her son Battler.
