Konoka Konoe is student number thirteen in the class. She is a very cheerful and optimistic young girl, who is the daughter of chief of the Kansai magic association, the granddaughter of the school dean, and a member of the Konoe family one of the Five regent houses. She has a hobby of fortune telling, before and after learning about magic, though most predictions are jokes. Though she initially knows nothing of magic, she is said to hold great potential, on par with Negi, the son of the man regarded as the strongest mage. She is kept unaware in order to protect her from groups looking to exploit her, as well as the fact that her father wanted her to lead a "normal" life.
