 Maron is a 16-year-old high school student and rhythmic gymnastic who lives alone having been left by her parents to work at separate jobs. She encounters an angel named Finn Fish who gives her a mission from God to seal away Demons attempting to steal the beauty in human hearts to increase the devil's powers. Through a hair ribbon, she can transform into "Kaito Jeanne" , the reincarnation of Jeanne D'Arc, and capture the demons. Maron is depicted as a lonely young woman who hides her feelings behind a warm smile. She has no contact with her parents from years until they call during the series to tell her they are divorcing.
