Holy Roman Empire, is only seen in the Chibitalia segment of the show. At first, Holy Rome takes Italy and forces him to become part of the empire, but in later episodes Holy Rome breaks apart from Italy when he was conquered by Austria in the Italian wars. Throughout the series, Holy Rome tries to unite him and Italy, and develops a crush on him. It turns out later in the series that Holy Roman Empire thought that Italy was a girl the entire time. He leaves to fight in a war, and then disappears. His fate has not yet been disclosed, although Himaruya has stated that he and Italy will "have a happy ending."
